SCIENCE

Yup, this new breakthrough in liquor technology could let us drink without hangovers.
The synthetic alcohol targets the GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric acid) receptors in your brain, and ONLY those receptors, allowing for the release of dopamine and serotonin without the hangover.
Not only will you be able to function the next day, but it also gets rid of other negative side effects like dizziness, and the urge to punch someone in the face.
According to the company "It feels like what a glass of wine feels like, it feels relaxing, it makes you a bit more chatty, and a bit more socially engaged with people.”
So what’s the catch?
Well, it hasn’t been approved for consumers yet. Meaning it’s not technically “safe” to drink. But what alcohol is??
Although the company has applied for registration for Alcarelle as a “novel food” in the U.K., E.U. and Canada. It has also applied for registration in the U.S.
TECH

Yup, you can now turn your cat memes into money!
Reddit just unveiled their shiny new toy: the Contributor Program. Which will pay users a portion of “gold” they receive on their posts.
Contributors will get between $.90-$1.00 USD per gold award received. Which will cost users $1.99 to purchase and give out (about 50% cut according to maths). but…
There’s just a few little stipulations…
You’ll need to have earned a minimum of 10 gold to cash out.
You need to have received at least 100 karma in the last year.
You’ll need to be older than 18
You need to be living in a “supported location” (which at first is just the US)
And your account will need to be in “good standing”
The Contributor Program will be going live on Monday in select subreddits, and will be available on web and Reddit’s mobile apps.
Good luck on your search for goooldd!
Food

Yup, this cereal brand hired people with the same names as celebrities.
UK cereal brand Surreal just dropped some of the strangest (and most genius) ad campaign of all time.
Instead of hiring big name celebrities, which costs millions, they hired “influencers” that have the same names as them.
Each billboard features the name Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Ronaldo, or Dwayne Johnson, along with the words “eats our cereal”.
But don’t worry, there’s an asterisk*
In small font at the bottom of each ad it clearly states that Dwayne Johnson is a bus driver from London, and that Serena Williams is just a student, which they even admit, they paid her eat their cereal.
Well done Surreal, well done. 👏
